Geographically, Arizona is the sixth largest state in the U.S. That size, along with its location in the American Southwest, gives it a vast array of climates and ecosystems. If you’ve been looking for a place for a second home, perhaps a getaway from hectic life in the city or from a harsh winter climate, you may have thought the blazing summers of the state’s most populous cities of Tucson and Phoenix weren’t quite what you’re looking for.
Buying land in Arizona for your vacation home, though, doesn’t limit you to the deserts of the southern half of the state. In fact, much of the northern portion of Arizona is found on the Colorado Plateau, the region where you’ll find the Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest, among other natural wonders.
Where is Spring Flower Ranch?
Our Arizona ranch parcels are a few hours’ drive north from Phoenix, or less than an hour west of Flagstaff, where you’ll find our closest airport. We’re just minutes outside of beautiful Williams, Arizona—a town of just over 3,100 that’s known as the “Gateway to the Grand Canyon.”
If you’ve ever “gotten your kicks” on Arizona’s portion of Historic Route 66, you’ve passed through this hamlet. Its Main Street is designated a National Historic District that’s worth a visit in its own right.
What’s there to do?
Your ranch property in Arizona is a perfect location for those who love the outdoors. The summers are pleasant, with daytime temperatures in the 80s, and winters are mild. We’re adjacent to the Coconino National Forest, which provides nearly two million acres to explore. Hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, offroading… there’s little an outdoors-enthusiast would miss here. And if it’s wintertime activities you’re looking for, Elk Ridge Ski area is minutes away.
In Williams, you can hop on the Grand Canyon Railway for a scenic 64-mile trip to the park’s South Rim. Or, stay local and check out the Bearizona Drive-Thru Wildlife Park, where you’ll be able to witness the wildlife North America is known for living in their natural habitats. The Grand Canyon Deer Farm lets you get right up close and even feed deer and other exotic animals.
The small town isn’t lacking for dining and entertainment options, either. You’ll find steakhouses, breweries, Creole and Cajun food, Thai cuisine, and of course the Southwest is known for its Mexican food. Catch a game or a live band at one of several bars and saloons along Main Street. During the summer, you can even watch a Western-style gunfight any night of the week!
The ranch property
With all that’s available nearby, it’s easy to see the appeal of the location. As for the property itself, roads have been constructed and paved to provide access to your lot. Phone lines and electric power are accessible from all of the properties at the property line. They are zoned as Residential properties, so you can begin construction of your second home right away (though you won’t be required to build here, ever). Lot sizes start at 2.5 acres.
There are plenty of great reasons to consider Spring Flower Ranch for your second home, or even your primary residence. You can request our free information package here to find out more. Or give us a call at 877.345.0296 to set up a tour.
