The state of Wyoming is blessed with wide open spaces. Vast plains, grazing buffalo, and stunning Rocky Mountain vistas make Wyoming an outdoor paradise. There are so many things to see in Wyoming, with nearly 100,000 square miles, that it’s difficult to narrow down the list.

From Cheyenne to Jackson, and Laramie to Sheridan, Wyoming provides a treat for the eyes. No matter where you look. Outdoor adventures are endless in the Cowboy State, but there are also fun indoor experiences that make Wyoming memorable as well.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is one of our greatest natural treasures. Set on 3500 square miles of stunning wilderness, breathtaking alpine rivers, and deep, dramatic canyons, Yellowstone is a photographer’s delight and not-to-be-missed. This immense parkland is home to hundreds of animals, as well as the iconic geyser, Old Faithful.

Plan to spend more than a day enjoying beautiful Yellowstone National Park, if you can. It’s truly remarkable for the beauty and history represented within. Just one of the things to see in Wyoming that makes our state wonderful.

Grand Teton

Grand Teton National Park encompasses land adjacent to Yellowstone, boasting Grand Teton 4000-meter peak, as well as the valley of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton’s unspoiled beauty is a sportsmen’s delight. Hiking, camping, skiing, and some of the most exciting Snake River sports fishing around is found at Grand Teton National Park.

Buffalo Bill Center of The West

In Cody, WY, you’ll find Buffalo Bill Center, a complex of museums that showcases the American West. William F. Cody, legendary showman, scout, and Bison hunter, embodies, for many, the spirit of the West. The museum center doesn’t disappoint.

Art and artifacts are on display among the center’s 5 museums, as well as natural history, and a museum devoted to the Plains Indians. Including, their history, culture, and contributions to this country. Among the many things to see in Wyoming, include the Buffalo Bill Center at the top of your list.

Cheyenne, the Capitol of Wyoming, provides a varied and interesting look at the state. Take a walking tour of the city, or visit the Wyoming State Museum with the Governors Art Gallery, and a hands-on-history exhibit that’s one of a kind.

Wyoming is a jewel in the crown of the United States. Still redolent in natural beauty, pure air and simple ways, Wyoming has something for everyone to enjoy. Come see for yourself.
